We all remember the temporary tattoos from our childhood, but in recent years they’ve undergone a festival-ready transformation. If you haven’t heard about Flash Tattoos, Beauty Marks, or Inkwear, you’ve most definitely seen these metallic, jewellery-impersonators gracing the tanned bods of music festival scenesters.
We must admit, some better ones pretty convincingly resemble real jewellery, but upon closer look won’t easily dupe you. Until now.
Enter: Moda Operandi’s latest collaboration with Lula DK. The entities teamed up to create a collection of tattoos that are inspired by real pieces in Alison Lou, Paul Mendoza, Noor Fares and Daniela Villegas’ collections sold on MO. And we’re not just talking any old pieces: we mean that the designers are recreating some of their iconic, best sellers to give us a temporary (and wallet-friendly) alternative.
So what will these temp gems cost you? A set with two pages clocks in at just under $50. Just steer clear of your loofa and your accessory game will be on point for days.
